Overview of Monterey Bay
Monterey Bay is a coastal region located two hours south of San Francisco that encompasses the communities of Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside and Carmel By the Sea. The region is virtually untouched by any form of commercialized interests that leaves the area a nature lover's haven and a geographic layout ideal for golfing and exploring. Monterey Bay has several coastal highways that hang off the side of jagged cliffs giving drivers breath taking views of the Pacific. The golf scene is said to be some of the best in the world. Cannery Row, made famous by author John Steinbeck is one of the main attractions with the Monterey Bay Aquarium at its center.

17 Mile drive winds along the coast south of Monterey giving strategic views of the rugged coastline, the Pebble Beach golf courses and ocean.
Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the more popular attractions in the region. Home to dozens of marine exhibits that cannon be found anywhere elese in the year-including at a few times in the past the display of a Great White Shark.
Carmel By the Sea is a quaint seaside community. Built to be pedestrian friendly, narrow drives and lanes are peppered with upscale shopping, gourmet restaurants and cozy inns.
Monterey's main entertainment center, Cannery Row sits on the waterfront and is populated by restaurants, bars, shops, wine tasting and art galleriies. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is centrally located in Cannery Row.
